Meet Leadbottom... the Elf

When Skylar was younger, he had this thing for elves. Every Christmas, he thought the elves came to life. He made his mom buy all the elves from Wal-Mart because he thought he was the only one that could save them all. haha All of his brothers and sisters wrote letters from the elves at night and put them in his room so he'd get them when he got home from school. Skylar claimed that they all talked and could do things. One elf named "Gitter" played the guitar. One did the Cha Cha. He made all his friends come over to see what the elves could do. Anyway, Skylar's mom found this little guy, Leadbottom, for me to put in our house. His sisters and I wrote a letter written to Skylar from Leadbottom saying that he appreciated Skylar saving all of his fellow elf brethren and that the elves were gonna watch over Max now. We were bustin up laughing. I guess we're carrying on the tradition of the elves.

The funny thing about that is I totally remember that. Skylar would always tell me such convincing stories and show me the letters and how the elves were always in different locations so they must have moved on their own...I probably believed in the elves too! How funny!
